Catch a breaking schema change before it reaches production: post one {schema, actual} JSON pair and get a compatibility report with an RFC 6901 JSON Pointer to every mismatch, the keyword that failed and the expected vs actual value. One POST, one report, supported keywords only, no upstream call. A purchase is two calls by design: this first call returns 402 with the price and the payment terms, and you then repeat the same request with the PAYMENT-SIGNATURE header to receive the 200 delivery.
